New job announcement

Starting a new role and want more than “excited to announce”.

I'm joining [COMPANY] as [JOB TITLE].

Here's the part I didn't post about: [WHAT THE LAST FEW MONTHS ACTUALLY LOOKED LIKE — the search, the doubt, the rejections].

What made me say yes to [COMPANY]:
→ [REASON 1 — the problem they're solving]
→ [REASON 2 — the people you met]

The myth: [WHAT PEOPLE BELIEVE]
The reality: [WHAT'S ACTUALLY TRUE]

Why the myth survives: [THE REASON — it used to be true, it's easy to sell, etc.]

What to do instead:
1. [ACTION]

Genuine question for [WHO YOU'RE ASKING]:

If you're in the same spot: [ONE PIECE OF ADVICE THEY CAN USE TODAY, free].

How to use them

How to use a template without sounding like one

  1. 01

Replace every placeholder with something specific

“[SPECIFIC RESULT]” becomes “cut onboarding from 11 days to 3”. A number, a name, a week. Vague fills are what make a templated post feel templated.

  2. 02

Cut the lines that don't apply to you

A five-point list with two real points is better than five padded ones. Delete freely — the structure survives it.

  3. 03

Rewrite the first line in your own words

The hook is the only part everyone sees before “see more”. Keep the shape, change the wording so it sounds like how you actually talk.

  4. 04

Check the length before you post

LinkedIn truncates at ~210 characters and stops at 3,000. Run it through the character counter if you're near the edge.

Draft already written by AI and reading a bit stiff? Run it through the LinkedIn post humanizer before you post.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Are these LinkedIn post templates really free?

Yes. Every template on this page is free to copy and paste, with no sign-up, no email, and no watermark. Click Copy, replace the bracketed placeholders with your own details, and post it.

How do I use a LinkedIn post template?

Copy the template, then replace every [PLACEHOLDER] with a specific detail from your own experience — a real number, a real name, a real week. The structure does the heavy lifting; the specifics are what make people stop scrolling. Delete any line that doesn't apply rather than padding it out.

Won't my post look like everyone else's if I use a template?

Only if you leave it generic. A template is a structure — a hook, a turn, a takeaway — not a script. Two people using the same template land in completely different places once the placeholders carry their actual story. The structure is the part nobody notices; the details are the part they remember.

How long should a LinkedIn post be?

LinkedIn cuts posts off at around 210 characters with a "see more" link, and the hard limit is 3,000 characters. Most of these templates land between 600 and 1,300 characters, which is long enough to tell a story and short enough to finish. Check yours with the free LinkedIn character counter.

Should I use hashtags and emojis in these templates?

Sparingly. Three relevant hashtags at the end is plenty, and one or two emojis used as visual anchors — arrows, a bullet, a single reaction — read better than a decorated wall of text. Formatting should help someone skim, not prove you tried.

Can LinkGenie write these posts for me?

Yes. LinkGenie learns your voice from your past posts and drafts the whole thing in it, then schedules it for when your audience is actually online. The templates here are the free version of the same idea: a proven structure, filled in by hand.

Stop formatting. Start posting.

LinkGenie writes LinkedIn posts in your voice, schedules them at peak times, and shows you what's working — so the tool above becomes the last step, not the whole job.
